Strength training for women is critical for mountain sports, but often misunderstood.


Too often I've seen women doing the wrong types of training, not reaching their full potential, burning out, or suffering unnecessary pain because they were following the “noise” online.


The Peak Week Challenge was built to help women gain traction with their training and LEARN how to train smarter as a female mountain athlete.


Peak Week training sessions will blend strength, power, endurance, and mobility to help you build a SOLID foundation for summer adventures in the mountains :)

Peak Week Challenge Schedule:

Monday: Dynamic Lower Body & Power

Today's session is all about moving with speed, power, and precision. You will see a lot of single leg strength in this session.

Tuesday: Upper Body & Endurance

Today's session will have a push/pull strength focus that will also challenge your core stability. Add endurance work on the trails before or after this session to start building more stamina! 

Wednesday: Mobility

Today's session is an active recovery day. You will be taken through a guided mobility session & get a PDF guide best recovery practices for female athletes!

Thursday: Full Body Strength & Stability

Today's session will include both upper and lower body strength. After the main lifts, we will hit  single leg stability work that will support joint health & reduce risk of injury.

Friday: PLAY + Optional Endurance

Today you will have the option to continue building your endurance foundation and/or go play outside. You can adjust this day based on how you feel at the end of the week.

I'm Liz, the founder of Mountain Edge Performance and I'll be your coach for Peak Week!


The Peak Week Challenge was born out of my passion for helping more women learn how to get strong & properly train to enhance their favorite mountain sports, without getting injured or feeling burnt out.


Over the course of 5 days you will refine your lifting technique,  connect with other women who love to play in the mountains, and take away concepts that may change the way you look at strength training entirely.
