For Skiers & Snowboarders

A FREE Pre-Season Strength
Training Challenge. 

Strength training for skiers and snowboarders is often ignored or misunderstood.

 

Too often I've seen skiers and riders do the wrong types of training (insert bodybuilding, bootcamps, and CrossFit here) or do nothing at all to prep for the winter season. This often leads to unnecessary pain, injury, or mid season burnout. 

 

The thing is, it doesn't have to be like that, which is exactly why I've created the Shred Prep Challenge.

 

I want to give you a taste of what it's like to train both effectively and efficiently for the winter season.

 

Shred Prep training sessions will blend strength, power, balance, and mobility to help you build a SOLID foundation so you can rip hard & reduce risk of pain holding you back this winter.

Shred Prep Challenge Schedule

Monday: Balance & Stability 

Improve your ability to stay steady and in control on challenging terrain. Balance and stability exercises will help you navigate uneven surfaces with ease and precision.

Tuesday: Strength & Power

Strength & power sessions focus on developing the key muscle groups you need for skiing and snowboarding. Strengthen your legs, core, and upper body to handle every turn, jump, and descent with confidence.

Wednesday: Mobility 

Greater mobility in your joints and muscles allows for more fluid and controlled movements. This translates to better carving, turning, and overall maneuverability on the snow.

Thursday: Strength & Power

Power training, which combines strength with explosiveness, enhances your ability to perform dynamic movements like jumps, quick turns, and spins. This translates to higher levels of confidence so you can tackle more challenging terrain, unlock new tricks/techniques, & push limits on the snow.

Friday: Mobility

Good mobility helps prevent injuries by ensuring that your muscles and joints can move through their full range of motion without excessive stress. This reduces the risk of strains, sprains, and joint issues that often come up at the beginning of the season.

What's Up, I'm Liz!

I'm Liz, the founder of Mountain Edge Performance and I'll be your coach for the Shred Prep Challenge!

 

The Shred Prep Challenge was born out of my passion for teaching skiers and snowboarders how to train effectively for the winter season. No B.S. involved.

 

Too often I see people being held back from pain, injury, or the classic "old age" syndrome. However, if we prepare our bodies for the demands of skiing/riding, we can stop feeling held back and continue pushing limits as we age. 

 

Over the course of 5 days you will train for the demands of skiing & snowboarding,  connect with other bad-ass shredders, and take away concepts that may change the way you look at training entirely.

 

This is your opportunity to build consistency as we move closer to opening day & increase your longevity as a skier and/or snowboarder.
