What's Up, I'm Liz!

I originally created these interval workouts for Mtn Edge athletes who were looking to increase their speed, power, and stamina for activities like hiking, trail running, and mountain biking.

 

A common thing I hear among trail athletes (runners, bikers, hikers) is that they either feel slow on the trails, struggle to tackle technical terrain, or just feel like their lungs always give out when trying to push at higher intensities.

 

Incorporating specific & intentional interval training into your schedule 1-2x/week is not only going to increase your speed & power, but it will also help you navigate technical terrain, recover faster, crush steep climbs, and improve overall performance on the most demanding trails.

 

These sessions won't be easy, but I promise if you stick with it, they WILL be worth it. Plus, interval training helps develop resilience and mental toughness, which teaches you to EMBRACE discomfort & is essential for overcoming challenges on the trail.
